I've got a theory! It could be bunnies!

I am so excited - there is going to be a Buffy sing-a-long for the musical episode Once More with Feeling! It's going to be in the vain of Rocky Horror Picture Show with props to interact with the show and lyrics so you can sing along. Click here for more info.

Luckily for Greg - he doesn't have to go. Unluckily for Karen Ransom - SHE DOES. Turns out my buddy Ransom is in town for work that week. Not sure if we are going to dress up in character for it. I told her we can go as Willow and Tara but she put up a stink. I say she should just go as Dawn - she's got the whining down. I can go as Spike and call Karen 'Little Bit' all night. Even if we don't dress up we have to bone up on our Buffy trivia for the Buffy-oke contest.

Sorry Melissa - the show doesn't tour into Florida - yet - you should write them to have it come to your area.

Give Me My Moneeeyyyy!!!

This past weekend we had some fun with the Tot. We were only going to stay for a little while, but Tatum was in quite a mood and we couldn't pull ourselves away. Lucky for Tim & Jenel we eventually left so we could watch the UFC match at home, otherwise we might still be there. Here is a slide show of the ever entertaining Tatum Kane Beck to hold you over until Uncle Greg uploads the video clips of her cracking us up. Lets just say she does a great impression of the Landlord, Pearl.

We are excited about her birthday this Sunday - our little angel is going to be TWO.

Mr. Bojangles is Really a Girl

What a tough life my kitties have. I got a fabulous gift basket as a thank you from the International Department for Summer Meetings. The basket was so nice that is wasn't even in a basket but this nice tin tub. So nice - I had to find some other use for it. So I transformed it Optimus Prime style into an awesome bed for my kitties.

They totally love it. See for yo self...

Such a look of bliss on Kittie - actually she might be high in this picture - Greg is really overdoing it lately on the catnip.

Benny chillin' in the new bed.

Notice Chewie's ears in this pic? This shot was taken just before Chewie barged into the bed and pushed Benny out. To add insult to injury, once Benny was out of it, Chewie wasn't interested in the bed anymore.

May the seed of you loins be fruitful in the belly of your woman

For Daddy's day we added a bunch of pictures to a digital photo frame that Shell picked up for pops. Shell said to pull photos of the grandkids. So I grabbed some picture of the boys and Tot but you know I also added some pictures of their grandkitties. I totally over did it and even scanned in some of my favorite pictures pre-digital camera. Of course they didn't all fit into the frame, so I selected a few and attempted to do one of those slide shows that Greg has mastered adding to the blog. I tried not to duplicate pictures that are already on the site.

Hope everyone had a good Father's Day -I got to spend the morning with my dad and the afternoon with my dad-in-law. It was an excellent way to spend a Sunday. Lots of love to My Two Dads.

Sunshine Day, Everybody Smiling, Sunshine Day, Everybody Happy Together...It's a Sunshine Day

All mornings should start off so good - of course Greg might beg to differ cause the mornings where I am this bubbly tend to get him all in poopie in the pants. But its Friday! I had a great night - Fiana the DB was kicked off SYTYCD - since Howard was a repeat I get to actually listen to something other than Fat Artie jokes and took the opportunity to jam to some Hot August Night. Greg was a good sport for a few songs then asked to put the ipod on shuffle - what comes up? Neil Diamond!

Continuing the music into the car I was listening to some 1st wave on Sirius and hear my boy Dave Gahan will be in the studio to talk about the 19 year anniversary of the 101 concert in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena so that will be good and there is talk about a solo album of his in the works.

Got some plans tomorrow to see my funny, funny niece Tatum tot - who is already starting to take after her Dad and Aunt K and it is coming through in her sense of humor. Jenel called to tell me how Tatum was flipping through a Shrek book this morning at Lowes and the book has a fart sound effect. Apparently this had Tatum rolling in the cart, laughing uncontrollably. How funny.

What would make this kick off to the weekend a Perfect Storm?! Hopefully my boss will give the green light to head out a bit early and I can get me some Pho Bowl. Uh oh, now I got the 'Pho Bowl in the belly' song going in my head.

Ok, I am now starting to figure out why Greg can only take so much of my good moods. Deep, deep, way deep down I think he enjoys my kooky ways.

Peace out fam - LTSOOYouse,
K

His name was Robert Paulson

I just finished my first SAFE course as a volunteer instructor tonight. Since tonight was the 4th evening it was FIGHT NIGHT. Gregory is kinda peeved with me cause I have so much energy and I am on such a high from the class. I cannot express how amazing it is to watch 40 women go from timid shy ladies, some who have never made a fist before, become bad ass women who kick some Cop butt! I gotta say it was hard on me cause I was helping and not able to get in there and fight -but it was great watchin the ladies land groin kicks and hammer fists as the cops put them through attack scenarios.

The scenarios are recorded and the ladies bring all sorts of food so we party while the tapes are played back and the ladies get to watch themselves and how well they did while we are chowing down.

I did totally enjoyed myself volunteering though and I got very nice complements from the ladies about how I helped them with my encouraging ways. One of the ladies brought in roses for all of the volunteers - how nice is that.

All you ladies I know better figure out when you are signing up - cause you are going to sign up and become some bad ass mamojammas!

Sparkle Motion

We are waiting to watch Jadyn's gymnastics dance recital. How cute does she look! Check back for videos. The practice run was Friday night at West Potomac and then the Finale on Sat. night...

we went back to the Bellz and played some Wii, had some DQ, and met their new kitten, Luna, Karen got her boxing and tennis skillz on but my battery went dead before I could document her wackiness, dang! Then Saturday night we ended up going back for the Grand Finale and Jadyn won the award for most improved on her squad. Good Job Jadyn...

Do do do do do... Whatever

I am almost fully recovered from the meetings in Florida. I would post a bit about them, but even I am tired of hearing myself talk about the meetings. They went well - everyone seemed to have fun while learning lots. Of course - its would be more difficult for Feld people to Not have fun - even when I plan an event at the kiddie park at Dinoland in Animal Kingdom.

My saving grace during meetings is Christy - these are the 9th meetings we have done together, the second in Orlando, and the first with our assistant Maddie - Christy& Jim's angel of a daughter. As tough a day with the mouse can be, coming back to a bubbly 5 year old can make you realize the power of the word 'whatever'. Greg and I are trying to talk the Andachts into to getting a web cam so we can see More of Maddie or better yet - I think I almost convinced Christy to send the kid over for a week with the Fissell's. Look at this face - wouldn't you want to spend a week with this kid?!

Christy and I had lots of help from the Rockstar that is Jen Ramos. Jen works with the Circus so you know I am totally jealous. She forwarded these amazing pics my way of the animals in Trenton, NJ last month. The torrential downpour finally let up in time for the animal walk out during load out.

I think this picture conveys the same feeling my dad felt when he moved the family out of Jersey. Just kiddin' - Jersey is the bomb, yo.

I will share some pictures from meetings once I get a few where I am not looking as haggard as I felt. I also have some pics of the Tot to post. Tim and Jenel also took sympathy on me and brought Tatum tot over to see us since I had such a hard time leaving the couch this past weekend.
Greg is working on some pics to share of our time with Emma, Paige & Sophia - but work your way over to Melissa & Mike's blog in the meantime cause they have lots of great pics posted already. http://eggknees.blogspot.com/

my girls want to party all the time

just a few shots...not much of the soph bc she went to md. with mo. had a great time with dad and the girls, went to the playground, another playground, craft store, where dad hooked the artists up, painted, had dinner, and then watched some tv. Em had to grab a quick shave this morning before we went to morgo's grad party, in which we endured a two hour drive in a traffic jam and pouring rain for the usual 40 minute trip. not nice. we jammed to some ashley tisdale and got slurpees on the way there to make up for it though.

Party's Over

Hurrican Karen has hit Florida. The meetings have not even begun and I have already busted the light fixture. Which I am sure is butt expensive. In typical KB fashion, I got frustrated when my charger cord got caught, yanked it free and it flew up into the light. Too bad I cannot blame this one on Greg as he is home with the nieces. Miss them all lots.

Family Fun

May has some family bday's to celebrate - Jack's was yesterday - his littlest girl Olivia was on Cinco de Mayo and Aunt Irene's was last week too. Happy Birthday Youse Guys!

I just saw my Aunt Irene for mother's day. Kathleen Cormier and her fiance were up from Key West to finalize some wedding plans. Greg and I were hoping the wedding would be in the Key's - that would be a great excuse to take a nice vacation in Fla - but instead we get to spend a fun filled weekend in Delaware - oh look, Delaware.

Since Greg was in Fla with the girls I tagged along with Tim, Jenel and the Tot for the trip. Tatum was super cute in the car - even though she had to share her DVD player with her Dad. I think Tim was more into the Muppet's than Tatum was. Kinda hard to tell who the kid is in that family at times.

Since Greg was out of town Tim stepped up to the task of stretching out my E.T. shirt. The funny thing is there are guys out there running around with shirts this tight.

Tatum was, as usual, very entertaining. Here she is doing what we all do at Uncle Gil - laugh.

This picture of Uncle Gil had Timmy laughing just as hard.

Aunt Gerda is a lucky lady.

Proof that I am the shortest person in the family. My cousin's are so cute.

Doesn't Tatum look adorable in my shades?!

Jerry lookin' bad ass in the shades.

She still loves him though - actually Kathleen, a marriage full of humor is the best kind.

In addition to Kathleen and Jerry's pre-wedding fun - we were also there to celebrate our mothers. Here is my Aunt Irene with her girls.

Jenel with her little one.

And of course - my favorite reason to celebrate the day - my mommy.

Hope everyone had a very happy Mothers Day.

Sisscor Me Timbers

Organized the boxes and working on my second post – all before Greg even gets up. It’s a productive morning. I know what you are thinking – big deal – Greg gets up at noon. Well Not today my friends. He has a 9 am wake up call. Off to go do some 1-800-askGreg computer help for the Crosses.

So why I have a quick minute I'll post about Karen & Shannon's visit. They were both here for Shanon's sisters wedding. With Greg in Florida it was a great opportunity to party BFF Style. In addition to K2 and ShanOff, Thanh and Keri, Amanda, Dan came all the way from WV and of course 'da Bells were all over. Jadyn used this time to entertain us with her freaky double jointed gymnastic antics.

Ouch

Shannon didn't come solo - she brought her hubby, Danny. That's right, married. Shannon and Danny eloped last month and we are all thrilled for Danny - he was lucky enough to get a wonderful girl. Shannon didn't do too bad in the spousal department either. We all like Danny lots. Aww, look at the happy couple.

Even though Karen and I ran around all weekend we did have fun together and Greg and I have plans to head out to Atlanta in August. For what you ask? Why do I usually visit Karen - to help her move. Yes, Karen has some aversion to staying more than a year in one location. But as you can see from my previous post, I am a moving master and I will rock that move yet again. We are also super excited to see the new Bourne film that will be released that weekend - The Bourne Ultimatum. Karen and I LOVE those movies! And after checking out the trailer for the new movie - this one is bound to be just as awesome.

Gotta go do some work now and then I have a nice mid afternoon nap to look forward to.

The Gift that Keeps on Giving

The blog, much like my life takes a back seat around this time of the year. But soon the company meetings will be a memory and I will be able to go back to bitchin' about other things rather than just work.

To add to my already stressed out life - this donation drive for the families whose homes burnt down is a LOT more work than I originally anticipated. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel and the fact that we raised almost $8,000 for the families makes it worth the work. In addition to money - we also collected clothing, shoes, and household items. People were very generous (or were cleaning out their closets) we collected over 70 boxes and bags of goodies. A good 20 of it went on to the families and they were very thankful. Now I bet you are asking yourself, what happened to the left over boxes - you guessed it... Casa de Fissell. You can just imagine how thrilled Greg is. Who knew it was such an inconvenience for charity organizations to come pick up so much stuff. 95% of which I think they would be grateful to receive - 5% pure crap. (I ask you - who would think to themselves - hum, used underpants, I think I will donate these dirty, disgusting, Used underpants? Actually, I take that back, I am not asking cause I just don't want to know the answer to that question)

This brings me to 50 boxes that will be in our lives for 2 weeks - seriously, there must be an organization out there that is willing to pick these up sooner. Or at least have someone answering the phone that wasn’t forced to do community service as part of their sentence. (Maybe it’s just me, but I would think if you are working at a donation drive and someone calls with a huge donation, you could be a bit nicer than the person I had the pleasure of speaking with yesterday.) Delightful people aside, I did find a way to organize the boxes so that they are not a huge inconvenience AND Greg can still park in the garage.

Since I knew my dad would be proud of his little girl - here's a picture of the boxes in the garage and the few that spilled over into the family room. I do love a good logistical puzzle.

I'll Put You On The Streets.

Happy Birthday to our precious Sophia Taylor Eagney! Have a great day Soph! Wish I was there to give you lots of birthday kisses.

Soph shares her birthday with another one of my favorite people – one Mr. David Gahan!

Looking for a pic of Dave I came across this one which dates back to when I first started listening to Depeche back in 1986 - Hey - we were all dorky back in the '80's!

OMG!!!!

I totally didn't even see that Greg posted that video clip until I checked my post on Florida! I see he did get some things accomplished while I was away. Lucky me. Guess it goes to show you to be careful what you wish for. Enjoy it why you can - it will not stay up there long. In my defense - there was a lot of wine in my system.

I am never drinking again.
