Where's Bummum?

Maybe Tatum needs new glasses if she cannot find Mom in this game of hide and seek.

Hot Tub Amanda Machine

Amanda and I went to see Avatar last night at a work function. The event and movie were very good. But not as much fun as it is to spend time with Amanda Hug & Kiss.

She was a good sport about posing in the Hot Tub Time Machine advertisement too.

I See You.

Broadcast Yourself

This punk better be working as hard at training for the triathlon as he is making snowboarding videos.
Aside from the song, it’s a very cute video.

Too bad my fall down the diamond wasn’t captured on video when I went boarding with Mike on Sunday, ’cause that would have gone viral. It was awesome!

Which birthday card is from the kids?

Greg went to get the mail and mentioned the envelope with all the stickers on it.

I said - Oh, you got Aunt Nancy's card.

Greg's reply was - No, it's from the girls. Like I was some kinda doofus. But there it was, within the mail. A sticker filled envleope from Aunt Nancy! I love how she will never grow up.

Happy Birthday Uncle Donkey!!!

Greg getting some birthday love from his nieces.

Oh. Wow. Gee Whiz. Looky here. You know we're always fascinated when we find leg irons with no legs in them

Yet another reason why my niece Taters is AWESOME!!

Those who know my brother and I know our love of The Fugitive is huge. Many a night I will fall asleep listening to it on my ipod and whenever it is on, and Tim or I come across it, the other one is getting a call and the next two hours are spent quoting back and forth our favorite lines. May sound lame to you, but we love it.

Anyway - Tim had it on today and guess who was riveted? Yeah, that's right The TOT!

Gonna have to start training her to recite a few key quotes.

Alright, listen up, people. Our fugitive has been on the run for ninety minutes. Average foot speed over uneven ground barring injuries is 4 miles-per-hour. That gives us a radius of six miles. What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble. Go get him.

Might be a stretch, but Jenel might take issue with 'Do you want to change you bullshit story, sir?' or 'I didn't kill my wife!... I don't care.'

Ice Sock Lady

Only I could get blocked in on three sides...

on a day when everyone is at home but me!

Kittie and Greg Sitting In A Tree

I have said it before - Kittie is In Love with Greg. Whenever she can, she is on Greg or staring at him.

See for yourself. Here she is on his shoulder purring in his ear.

And here she is staring longingly into his eyes.

This is the same cat who only lets me allow her to lay on me when she wants to. When I try to pet her, she is outta there.

Snowstorm 2 -

Could this suck anymore? Everything is closed down. Nobody has to work except the company I work for. The Metro is closed. And we got another foot of snow.

Snow Kitties

Benny and Chewie cuddling to stay warm during Snowapalooza 2. Going mental with all this freaking snow!

Children of All Ages

When I was in Florida for work the Eagneys and Schraders were able to come to Orlando to see The Greatest Show On Earth.

I always have fun at the circus, but it was even better with the kids. And since Melissa and Jen are just big kids, it was that much better!

Here's a bunch of photos of the fun. Hopefully Greg will post the video of Soph-a-Doph cracking me up dancing to Single Ladies. Or as I have renamed it. Single Sophies as I am unable to hear that song without thinking of my precious Soph.

Group shot of everyone before the show began.

Jen, Me and Mo - we called each other to wear pink :)

Self shot of me with the Eageny girls.

Emma's favorite part of the show, Baby Barack

Since Lakeland is so close, I went to go see the Gold Unit which is the smaller show that travels by trucks instead of trains to get into the smaller towns. One of the best things about the Gold Unit is how close you are to everything - especially the elephants.

The other awesome part of the Gold Unit - LIONS!!!
He looks like Benny :)

Another perk of working at Feld is getting to go backstage and holding one of the carpet pythons that are on the new Red Unit.
This is Ipanema.

Here's a slideshow of the fun. If you double click on the slideshow it will open up the google site where you can watch the video of Soph singing Single Ladies until Greg posts it to the blog.

Snowapalooza 2010

The storm that keeps on giving, and giving and giving. Good thing Aunt Irene rescheduled the family party for March.
Here’s a pic from last night before bed!

And this was from an hour ago. And YES. It's still snowing.

Kittie thinks she wants to get out there. Kittie ain't too bright.

One of the joys of owning a townhouse is there is not a lot of room to move snow out of the way. It's not that big of an issue most years. This winter though, it's enough to keep me awake. I was laying there in bed this morning contemplating where to put it all, and worse, where the neighbors would put their snow. Without the right plan, there snow would end up in the street and then plowed back into my driveway. Then it hit me. At 6am this morning. The perfect plan. I couldn't go back to sleep once inspiration hit, so I was up and shoveling by 7am.
So, onto the master plan.
First I loaded up as much as I could in front of the stairs...

in order to shoveled a path into the open space.

Then I would pile the snow into tubs and put the tubs on a dolly.

And then dump the snow around the tree in open space.
Can you see the path within the snow?

All I could think is Dad would be very proud of this scheme. I am sure he was looking down on me this morning grinning and saying - that's my girl.

Here's a photo of Lindsey and I working hard trying to clear out the driveways. Lindsey is my awesome neighbor and workout buddy. She is one of the reasons I think that I can pull off the triathlon that I am training for. If you have a sharp eye, you will notice that I have on a different jacket from the first couple of photos. I was so wet and cold, I had to do a wardrobe change mid shoveling.

You would think that after 3 people and 4 hours, it would look better than this. But it's like that commercial for the all you can eat pancakes that keep regenerating. As soon as you turn your back - BAM - more snow to shovel. We had to put a fork in it at some point.

Yes, the cougar is back! Keith fixed the brakes, rotors, calipers and master cylinder. It should hold me over till we can get me a new car. I cannot wait. Greg put the brakes on the Mini Cooper, and after this storm, I am not going to fight it anymore. Instead we are looking at crossovers - I would love an RDX, but I might as well be shopping for a Lexus RX330. Instead we are looking at the Nissan Rogue, Mazda CX-7, and the Mitsubishi Outlander.
Once I move the cat off my lap and stop playing Webkinz, we are going out for round 3.

I am hoping with all this time on my hands, I might get some photos up on the blog that I have neglected to do. I have the Circus in Orlando with the Eagneys and Schraders. That was so much fun. I also have photos of when Mike, Chris, and TATUM spent the night. Yeah, that's right, we got all three of them. It was a blast, playing Wii and goofing around. Then Chris, Lindsey and I went running. Chris is taking on the ultimate challenge of getting us in running shape. Good luck Critofer.

New Message

The snow from last night is beautiful and fluffy. The best part is easy to shovel. But then again, easy to shovel means cannot take a snow day.

Nice start to the day
