It Just Flew On My Finger

Apparently I am not the only BoBo in the family when it comes to technology. My sister Michele reformatted her flash drive and lost all 191 pictures of the trip to the Zoo with the family! Shell gets an F in camera usage. Luckily Greg was able to use his Jedi super powers and recover all of them. Unfortunately – that means he was also able to save the pictures Suzanne took of me eating my birthday cake – very unattractive – but since we have control of the pictures right now – I am going to delete those pictures for good!

Birthday cake you say? Yes, thank you for asking. My family was so sweet and surprised me (and Mary) with cake and lunch at the Zoo for our birthdays. Mary’s birthday is on the 4th and she turns 6. Mine is on the 6th and I am just a little bit older than Mary. It was a lovely way to end a wonderful day – and I also love my Panda shirt. I will post some more pictures once Greg finishes the recovery process, until then – enjoy this picture of Carlee – there is no denying she hails from Suzanne.

Thanks everyone for making the trek past the Mason-Dixon line and for being youse. Love the shit outta ya. PS – Tyler and Mike – we missed you at the Zoo – but you both had teams that are dependant on your talents.

We also missed out on the company of our parents, but they went up early to Philadelphia. Today they are saying good bye to our Great Uncle Jim. Uncle Jim was Dad and Uncle John’s Uncle and was a wonderful man who lost a lengthy battle with cancer. Amy said it best when she said they just don’t make ‘em like him anymore. He had military honors and was surrounded by the love of lots of family and friends. Our love and thoughts go out to his family, especially his wife Aunt Julia, sons Jim and Billy and daughter Julia.
