Sadie Lady

Karen Ransom and I went over to visit with Mom and Dad and somehow we found ourselves working up a sweat. Mostly because we wanted to keep Uncle Gil and MeJ from having heart attacks - and because we love the manual labor. We found Dad on the deck (no surprise there) overseeing the Uncles removing Sadie's gate. The post was in the ground with a stake that was 3 feet long - so we gave a helping hand.

Little did we know that was just the beginning. The steak from the gate was used in the front yard for the new mailbox. Pretty good job if I do say so myself.

It wasn't all work for K - we also went to see the Tot in her first dance recital - not only did she wear her ADORABLE outfit - but she put on quite a show, hopefully we can get a copy of the video to post. Told you she looked Cute.

Everyone wanted a picture with her - but she only stopped jumping for BumMum.

The rest of the time Tatum was leaping onto her Uncle Mike to test out those wings.

(Pay no attention to the date - go figure Mom & Dad haven't updated the calendar settings on their camera). Karen looks even shorter than usual when in a picture with Mike and Chris.

She also looks a bit vertically challenged next to Tim. There is a cute pic of Shell, Tim and me - but it must be on one of the 8 other cameras taking pictures that day. There is also one with the tons of family members who came to see her big show. I will find and will post soon. Hopefully.

Tomorrow there will be MANY more pictures of Taters because tomorrow is her 3rd Birthday party. Two words - Moon Bounce. As excited as we all are - we are also bummed cause Dad is not going to be at the party. Instead he is getting some some special care at Fairfax Hospital. Dad had a fever this morning - 103 degrees, he was disoriented and had the chills, so Mom called 911. I can only imagine the circus with 2 ambulances and 3 fire trucks - I am sure the neighbors are freaking out wondering how Dad is doing. We all did our share of panicking today. Turns out Dad has an infection - which according to Suz is bound to happen now and then - just a blip in the road. Dad was doing much better after getting some fluids - he was dehydrated, which makes it a bit tough to fight infection. The great news is it is not pneumonia. We will know a bit more information tomorrow. Dad's blood pressure is slowly coming back up and his color is Much better. I am going to bring the computer and webcam over so we can make sure Dad is a part of the party.
