Meet Turtle

While Greg and I both think the precious pile of fur looks like an Ewok - Joc wants nothing to do with Star Wars. Such a hater. ;) We tried for Wicket - the little Ewock from ROTJ. (Plus, we call Ransom Wicket so it would but cute on that end too). But since Joc is taking care day and night of the little guy, no star wars it is.

The name that has stuck is Turtle. Which is cute too - the name is due to the fact his tail looks like a turtle's tail. Butt - Tim & Jenel's cat started out with the same little tail and now Gilley's tail is bigger than Benny's.

It will be interesting to see what he ends up looking like - but it's so much fun watching him grow. I have never seen anything thing this small up close let alone had to care for it. He is already bigger and the fur on his paws is starting to come in so they are not all pink anymore. His ears are up and it looks like his eyes are starting to focus better. His marking are perfect - if you took his jaw line the bottom of his jaw is all white and it leads down into a poof of white on his belly. All 4 paws are white. As if that is not cute enough - if you look at his top lip - half is white and half is black.

Greg thinks I am nuts to add this to all that is going on lately - but what a nice distraction Turtle is and you cannot help but smile looking at him.
